Step 1
Turn intent into a story contract
Define the characters, world, voice, and arc — then go further. Pin must-hit scenes and their consequences, schedule what the reader learns, set forbidden turns, and specify how the ending must land. AI Assist can help sharpen a choice, but your decisions remain the source of truth.

Book plan and draft
Your story choices are validated before generation. Once the plan passes its checks, your Chapter 1 preview or entitled manuscript build can start automatically. A separate chapter outline is optional. Book Hub keeps the cover, progress, chapters, and next action together while the manuscript takes shape.
Step 3
The draft is not final until you say it is
Read and edit every chapter directly. Inspect timeline, character, object, and reader-state evidence beside the prose. Work manuscript-specific flags inline, compare suggested rewrites, resolve or dismiss findings, complete the review checklist, and approve only when the chapter works on your terms. Finished manuscripts stay together with their covers, genres, chapter counts, and publishing tools. Search your shelf, reopen a book, or begin the next story without losing track of what you have made.
Step 4
Publish what you have approved
After every chapter has passed your review, download the files Amazon KDP actually wants: an editable Word document, a Kindle EPUB, and a 6×9 interior PDF for paperback print-on-demand. You still upload to your own KDP account — Amazon prints when a reader orders. The listing package covers the paperwork that usually stalls first-time authors: seven keywords, book description, category guidance, and cover-image prompts (plus a cover brief). Pro plans can also generate an audiobook — spoken chapter MP3s you can listen to and download from Prepare to publish.
Optional in The Composer: an education layer that weaves real-world knowledge into every chapter. Leave it off and the book runs without educational mandates.
